Who is Dr. Rahil Najafov (Azerbaijan) CV

Dr. Rahil Najafov (born 15 July 1982, Neftchala, Azerbaijan) is a prominent Azerbaijani scholar, historian of philosophy, journalist, editor-in-chief, and scientific strategist whose academic activities encompass philosophical research, socio-educational analysis, academic publishing, and international scholarly communications.
He received his foundational education at Baku State University (2000–2005), where he earned a Master’s degree in Theology. He continued his postgraduate research at the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), completing his doctoral work on the role of irrational knowledge in the epistemological traditions of Eastern-Islamic philosophical thought. His PhD thesis, “On the Irrational Elements in Eastern Peripatetic Philosophy” focuses on revelation, dream, intuition, divine inspiration, and non-rational faculties of cognition in leading Islamic thinkers such as Suhrawardi, Bahmanyar, Ibn Sina, and Al-Kindi.
